Pavlina Panova: One Woman Show
In her artwork, Pavlina Panova uses only natural materials: mostly dried leaves but also flowers, seeds, wood pieces, herbs, etc. There is no paint involved - all colors are natural. Colorful or black and white, her pictures are two and three dimensional and are built up on board, canvas or clay.
Some pictures have unique frames made in the same style and out of the same media as an inherent part or particular continuation of the base image.


Pavlina Panova was born in 1959 in Bulgaria where she was a published author, literary critic and teacher of Bulgarian language and literature. In 1999 she and her family come to the US where she began using natural materials to create unique and beautiful works of art.
